The octatrack seems like the best bet but friends tell me learning it is a headache, but for me producing tracks on it would be secondary, I would use it mostly for live. I've also looked into the MPC live but it seems a bit limited in the live looping and fx area.

I'm curious if there are any other instruments that have this combination.
